China National Acrobatic Troupe actively combines tradition with innovation. It not only preserves many traditional programs but also integrates acrobatics, music, dance, drama, Chinese Kungfu, etc. and makes many new programs such as "Chinese Soul", "Legend in Wonderland". Among them, "Chinese Soul" was selected by the Chinese Ministry of Culture as the only acrobatic show presented for the 50 th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. After refreshment, "Chinese Soul" won the Gold Chrysanthemum Award at the first China Acrobatic Festival in 2002 and still remains one of the masterpieces created by the troupe. In 2004, "Legend of the Magic" was presented to audience.

The Gold Magic Stick Award at the 16th International Star Magic Festival in Monte Carlo, Monaco in October, 2001 achieved by Li Ning with his "Transformation and Illusion", also the only magic program ever won that prize in Asia.

The French Republic President Award at the 24th Tomorrow Circus Festival in France in January 2003 achieved by Zhang Fan with his "Slack Wire".

The Golden Clown Award at the 20th International Circus Festival of the Monte Carlos in Monaco in January 2004 achieved by the troupe with the program "Pagoda of Bowls"

The French Republic Award President Award at the 26th Tomorrow Circus Festival in France in 2005 achieved by the troupe with the program "Diabolo".
